Agreement to terms
By accessing riff.ae or joining our waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, that's okay — but please don't use the site.
These terms apply to the current waitlist/coming soon phase. When Riff fully launches, we'll update these terms and notify you.
The service
Right now, Riff is a waitlist for an upcoming live music discovery platform focused on the UAE. Here's what that means:
- You can sign up with your email to be notified when we launch
- We may send you occasional updates about our progress
- The full platform isn't available yet
We're building something we think you'll love, but we can't guarantee specific features, launch dates, or that the service will meet your expectations. We're a work in progress.
Your responsibilities
Pretty straightforward:
- Provide accurate info — Use a real email address that belongs to you
- Don't abuse the service — No spamming the signup form, no automated submissions, no attempting to mess with our systems
- Be a decent human — If you contact us, keep it respectful
We reserve the right to remove any email from our waitlist if we believe it violates these terms.
Intellectual property
Everything on this site — the Riff name, logo, design, copy, and code — belongs to us (or our licensors). You're welcome to:
- Share the site with friends who love live music
- Screenshot it to tell people about us
But please don't:
- Copy our branding or pretend to be us
- Scrape the site or use our content for commercial purposes
- Use our name or logo without permission
Disclaimers
The site and waitlist are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:
- The site will always be available or error-free
- A specific launch date for the full platform
- That the final product will include any particular features
- That joining the waitlist entitles you to anything beyond updates
We're building in public and things may change. That's the nature of early-stage products.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Riff and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of (or inability to use) the site
- Any emails we send or fail to send
- Unauthorized access to your data
- Any other matter relating to the service
In plain English: we're doing our best, but if something goes wrong, our liability is limited. This is a free waitlist, not a paid service.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify our waitlist via email. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms.
The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.
